Facebook is a very complicated forum that most business owners find hard to navigate. The problem is most business owners are lacking an overall vision and strategy for Facebook. How I Spent The First Quarter of 2010

I spent the first quarter of 2010 taking small business group coaching 101 from Neworld coaching. I feel like this class is a must for all business owners. The class last 13 weeks class each week covers a specific topic that is critical for every business owner’s success. Topics include setting and achieving goals, creating a vision and a mission for your business, networking effectively online and offline, becoming a business leader, branding you and your organization as the experts in your field, and acquiring referrals from all of your existing clients.

Also each week has a challenge which is related to the topic you must complete. Each one of your completed challenges moves your business forward. So once you go through the class its just a matter of repeating your challenges and mastering the steps. This is not a high school or college class where memorization gets you through. This is a Cliché which originated with The Wizard of Oz; however, this is the reason for a lot of internet marketer’s failures. Most people fear attention and spot light. As internet marketers, we must create attention and spot light. Most people fear rejection we must embrace rejection and learn from it. I encourage everyone I work with to create an informational product to help brand themselves and create a list. This is how I find out if someone is serious about being successful. If you are not afraid of the spot light and don’t fear rejection, this is not an easy task but not a very hard one. If this task is impossible for someone, I know they are not cut out for internet marketing.

Example of Bad Advertising

This is a paid advertisement for a company in my home town. This is a great example a local company mimicking a major corporation. A major corporation with great branding (ie Walmart) doesn't need to put contact information in their advertising.

If your company is not very well known, It is a must you include your address, phone number or website. This makes it easier for people to do business with you. This add does not have a phone number so I cant put their number in my phone as tow truck. I gotta go home and look up their number to do business with them. Lesson here make it as effortless as possible for potential clients to reach you.

My Top 3 Twitter Moments Between 0-30,000 Followers

I Just want think you guys for being so loyal and following me, thank you for helping me achieve a follower count of 30,000 would have never been possible with our you. I also want to show you what a powerful marketing media twitter is and take time to reveal my top 3 twitter moments on the way to 30,000 followers. Always remember when I started I had 0 followers.

1)Number one with out a doubt is being followed by two very influential people President Obama and Governor Schwarzenegger. I really don’t know how this happened I just check my followers one morning and there was the President of the United States and it was one of those moments that takes you back. Then a few days later I was looking at Twellow (Great Site for finding Niche Tweeters) and it shows your followers with he highest following and their was Governor Schwarzenegger. I was just amazed, I grew up on the Terminator and I love Twins. I also think the Governor is a very strong leader for the people of California. I was just stunned that he had decided to follow me. This just goes to show you if you use Twitter the right way you can attract some pretty influential people.

2)The second biggest moment was being invited to do a radio show about twitter. My first radio show will air December 1 at 11 am eastern time. It will be a part of the Roatan Bruce Radio Show, and broadcast live in the nation of Honduras and Streamed live all over the world via their website http://www.wave101fm.com/. This is the same program that the President of Honduras was recently on and one of the most popular shows in the nation of Honduras. Roatan Bruce is known as the Larry King of Honduras. This is a huge opportunity for me to reach a huge world wide audience via the radio a medium that would be completely unavailable to me had I not made the right connections via Twitter.

3) My third biggest moment was came about via Twitter’s new list feature. This feature allows users to group people on twitter into list. You could have a list of close-friends, a list of bands you like, a list of anything you could possible think of. This is a feature I have been actively using since it became available to users early in October. I have created four list of my own and I follow another two list. Well one of my all time favorite musicians Collective Soul decided to list me in their list rockin-fans-list-2. http://twitter.com/collective_soul/rockin- fans-list-2. If you have never heard their music they are amazing. They have 7 number one hits to their credit and have been inducted to Georgia Music Hall of Fame. For me to be listed by such an immensely talented group off people was a huge honor.

I have finally completed the cheap marketer. I had to wait for a couple of extra weeks for a key component I want to be in the book to be made available. The Cheap Marketer is an expansion of my old email series. The book includes Twitter, FaceBook, Skype, and Email marketing.

It also tells my personal story in the internet marketing arena. The book covers the old way I was taught to market on the net and is contrasted by the way I market today. This book is by no means just an autobiography this book is first and foremost a training manual. I only tell my story for training purposes.

The primary focus of the book is to show the reader how to expand their sphere of influence and being careful not to over sale and drive people away. Now more than ever, your marketing efforts can have a huge impact with a zero budget. We are in a time, where facebook is the second most popular website on the net and it cost absolutely nothing to have a presence there. Now you can barely watch a TV Program or a listen to a radio show and not have a twitter account advertised. Again it cost nothing to have a huge presence on Twitter. In the cheap marketer I show you how to tie all of these free places to advertise together and have them work as one. Hey Guys I Know It Has Been Awhile

It has been awhile since I updated this blog. I wanted to give everyone an update on what I have been doing. First of all the Cheap Marketer E book is almost finished I would have been finished earlier; however, I wanted to test out a couple of free business online to see if they would be a good fit for the book. Followe.rs A Review

As many of you know, I am using followe.rs. I want to tell you in my opinion the best way to use the system. Followe.rs is stet up so that everyone who is in the system is following everyone else in the system. There is a free version and a 37 dollar a month version. The difference in the two is that the paid version makes ten dollars a month residual on paid referrals, and the free only makes five dollars a month. Here is the important part to remember the followers you get from the site are already in the program. in order to be successful in followe.rs you must bring people into the system from an outside source; I used my list and safe list. The system will also tweet for you to try to drive followers of yours into the system that aren't already in. Followe.rs also have adds you can post directly to FaceBook, Myspace, Digg, and more. The only thing it seems they are missing are text and banner adds. I like the system but I also still use TwitProQuo and other techeniques to get followers and get new members to followe.rs.

I am working all this week to get the new ebook out for all of you. This ebook will be the best free tutorial, I have written to date. It will be packed with useful information, on the top free places to advertise like twitter, facebook, blogs, and more. It will also show you how to create an endless supply of leads on skype for any product, while making money doing it. It will show you how to create an email list "for a dollar a day", which can be used to promote any business, or business tool. My book will also show you why most marketers on the internet fail. Most internet marketers make the mistake I made for years THEY SELL A PRODUCT. I will show you exactly why this doesn't work and what you have to sell/give away to be successful. Introduction to My New Blog

This is the first post of my brand new blog. I will use this blog to keep everyone up to date on the projects I am working on. I will not have any guest bloggers on this blog a 100% of the content will be written by me. This blog will be different from my cheap marketing blog. Eventhough, I love showing people how to get the most for there marketing dollar. I want to give everyone a chance to see me as a real person and not just as The Cheap Marketer. I will however give you my prospective on internet marketing and tell you exactly how I implement certain marketing techniques.
